Sloten locals love Kerkzicht's attractive terrace that lies directly opposite St. Pancras' Church, and with good reason. It's a great place for an afternoon drink and once you get hungry a selection of delicious meals including some regional specialities is available. If you’d like to sample one of North Holland’s most renowned meals, ask for the Texels lamb. You can't go wrong with the beef tenderloin either. It isn’t hard to notice that the restaurant has been a brown bar in a previous incarnation, as the interior is still quite old-fashioned. Its setting in a cosy old village house is also appealing.
