Although you probably wouldn’t call Louter a restaurant, it’s definitely more sophisticated than your average café. Beige floral prints dominate the room except where the walls are painted a pleasant cocoa brown and dim lighting is provided courtesy of what look like pre-war light bulbs tied in knots above the tables, candlelight and more traditional chandeliers by the bar. On a sunny day the painted picnic tables next to the canal outside are the place to be to enjoy refined, yet affordable international cuisine and a tasty beer.
