The Banks Mansion has a similar concept to the all-inclusive resorts you find in the Caribbean and other sunny climes, but with beautiful Art Deco features and design. The complimentary drinks served by the open fireplace at the bar, which is open 24 hours, is certainly a big hit with its customers and not having to pay for the usual travel extras makes one feel at home. Other benefits include its spacious, comfortable rooms, all of which are equipped with the latest amenities and 21st-century comforts. The wonderful staff also deserves a pat on the back for sharing its genuine smiles so often. Although it's officially only a four-star hotel, it certainly belongs, at least in our humble opinion, to the exclusive 'cream of the crop' category of Amsterdam accommodation.
