If you’re tired of khinkali or your budget doesn't stretch to eating out every mealtime, we suggest you stop at a large supermarket in Tbilisi before you head up to Gudauri and bring some supplies with you. There is a reasonably good Smart supermarket at the petrol station in Gudauri, which also has a small café and bakery. There is another shop about a hundred meters from the bottom chairlift station and a few other small stores dotted around town.
