A good and very cheap alternative to the expensive car parks in the centre are the three Park & Ride (P+R) facilities at the edge of the centre locally known as Transferium. All together they can host 2,700 cars. You park your car here, take the parking bus to the centre (or any of the free available bikes), and for a maximum of four people you pay only €4, a real bargain! The bus ride is basically a free tour of the centre which ends at De Parade right next to the St John’s Cathedral. Transferium Vlijmenseweg is brand new transferium, right next to the westside of hospital Jeroen Bosch Ziekenhuis.
