Appropriately named, the venue was in fact opened on the 17th of the 7th month – the day when Noah’s ark ran aground on Mount Ararat in the bible story, and the hulking building looming on the hill immediately puts you in mind of an ark, feeling mysteriously Tardis like with its many interlinking chambers and floors.
