Not to be confused with the second-rate food court where places like McDonald's congregate for the benefit of the hungry masses, a food hall is something altogether more sophisticated, combining upmarket delicatessens and stalls selling falafel, gourmet burgers and the like for the pleasure of the more esoteric diner. Vilnius has recently discovered them, and long may they stay and prosper.
