Well-positioned on the Old Town's high street, Pijalnia’s around the clock crowds make it hard to miss. Flooded inside and out with students and street urchins, Pijalnia seems to be at the forefront of this tried and trendy formula: offer cheap drinks (5zł and up) and a small menu of traditional vodka and beer snacks (12/13zł) in dingy environs that conjure communist nostalgia while simultaneously being a subtle backlash against the increasing cost and ostentation of the city's nightlife.
