Kraków's largest, most modern cinema complex when it was built in 1967, Kijów has managed to maintain its status over the years, despite its architecture having gone well out of vogue. The cinema features five projection rooms with comfortable seating, including an intimate room for 22 people tops, and what they claim is the largest screen in Poland, accommodating over 800 guests. This dichotomy actually reveals what makes Kino Kijów so unique - it's a city centre cineplex that shows both big screen blockbusters and art films. Host of frequent festivals and events, there's also a cafe on-site.

My favorite concert venue in Kraków. The perfect combination of comfort and excellent acoustics. They should have more shows here!
