Ty Hyll

The name means ‘The Ugly House’, but nothing could be further from the truth. This is a charming piece of yesteryear architecture that supposedly sprung up overnight, although there are plenty of stories to counteract that. Maybe it was build by bandits in the hills, somewhere for thieves to hide out until their various crimes blew over? Whatever its origins, today it is a gorgeous cafe with a keen eye for art, and an absolute must when in and around Capel Curig.
