Pen-y-Gwryd Hotel

This is what we’re talking about, a pub charming enough to convince even us to wander our way up a mountain. The Pen-y-Gwryd Hotel lies at the foothills of Snowdon and is very much the classic mountaineers pub, a place to rest those weary feet while enjoying a pint of ale by a roaring fire. Classic mountaineering photography fills the walls giving a sense of purpose and class to the place, an atmosphere readily established by the grandeur of the building itself. Rooms and excellent food are also available.
