Union Square (Or Piața Unirii, to be exact) is the true epicenter of Cluj, the social heart of this marvelous city since approximately forever ago. It also happens to be one of the largest squares in all of Romania, and is home to a number of the finest structures in Cluj, not to mention many of its finest cafes and restaurants. The architecture is as impressive as it is varied, and the centrality of it all makes Union Square an excellent meeting point or base camp for anyone exploring the very centre of town.
