Once a prestigious hotel, almost nothing has changed about this place since the Brezhnev years. The rooms’ amenities (i.e. the phone, facets and light fixtures) are working Soviet-era antiques. Though primitive, it has managed to keep some of its charm and offers an affordable alternative to the mega-price joints you’ll find on and around Deribasivs’ka vul. The helpful staff speaks some English. A Georgian restaurant, bar and salon round-out the available services.
