The Swiss Semadeni sweet-shop was a favourite destination for visitors in Kyiv during the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. True, it had another address, but the present-day sweet-shop going by the same famous name is no disgrace. The interior breathes respectability. There are five sorts of chocolate offered, various cakes, and sweets made on-site.
