Ciro’s Pomodoro

Established in London in 1978 by hipster Ciro Orsini, the restaurant’s stylish mix of music, glitz and great Italian fare has translated into world wide success. The Kyiv restaurant is a much needed addition to the local scene in that it’s tastefully hip; hopefully Ciro’s will serve as an example to all the pretentious wannabe joints that litter the capital. An Italian chef is on hand to make sure all dishes ooze with authenticity. Highlights include: fabulous penne, ravioli and fettuccini dishes; succulent seafood, such as the salmon filet in a porcini mushroom and wine sauce; and favourite pizzas of the stars. Lunch goers receive a 20% discount Monday - Friday from 12:00 - 16:00, and night owls can choose from a special selection of soups, salads, pizza bread, etc. Live music (jazz, blues, rock) echoes through the basement halls nightly from 21:00 - 00:00, a DJ takes over from there and spins untill dawn.
