A must see (and do) attraction in Copenhagen is definitely Tivoli amusement park, located in the epicenter of Copenhagen. A great number of rides, for all age groups, from carousel to rollercoaster, can be found here. The park was opened in 1843, and served as an inspiration to Walt Disney for a park of his own, Disneyland. The gardens are beautiful even for a walk, with a lake in the centre and historic buildings all around. During the night, a millions of little flickering lights create an even more magical atmosphere in this place of fun and laughter.
