Haus Konstruktiv

Haus Konstruktiv fits its location well: a former electrical substation in the city centre. A perfectly industrial backdrop for the kind of art this public gallery specialises in. It is essentially dedicated to preserving one of the most important Swiss contributions to art history: constructive and concrete art, represented by artists including Max Bill, Camille Graeser, Richard Paul Lohse and Verena Loewensberg. The Rockefeller Dining Room, a walk-through painting in concrete style by Swiss artist Fritz Glarner for Nelson A. Rockefeller is permanently on show.
