Gelateria di Berna is all the rage and rightly so! Their handcrafted, Italian-style ice cream is well worth queueing for (and yes, you will have to queue). To make sure it's not just about the eccentric flavours (think ginger/fruit mixes and the like), we tasted a classic vanilla and chocolate in a cone and were still delighted. So buy some gelato and then take a seat on one of the benches on Brupbacherplatz or stroll over to Idaplatz and enjoy the Zurich summer while it lasts.
