The craft-beer trend has definitely arrived in Zurich! Erzbierschof serves 24 different beers on tap, a good few of them usually from Swiss small and micro breweries. And it’s not just the India pale ales every brewery seems to be trying its hand at these days! Taps 23 and 24 often spout the really exceptional stuff, like the cider-like sour ale we tested. The beers on offer change frequently - and they also have standard lager beer to wash down all these different tastes, if needed. The bar has a very minimal kind of atmosphere, but maybe that’s a good counterbalance to the bewildering variety of beers.
