The Echo in the Zürich Marriott Hotel serves Swiss dishes beyond raclette and fondue, e.g. bündner gerstensuppe (barley soup from the Grison Alps), chalbsbäggli (braised veal cheeks) or egli im teig (perch fillets in beer batter). The menu changes according to the season. For some action at your table, order some raw meat to grill it on a hot stone (brötle as we Swiss say). The bright wooden floor and the wine-red walls give the Echo somewhat more class than some cowshed replica – which well matches the food on offer.
