Caredda

The Caredda close to Limmatplatz has two connected rooms - a cake and pastry shop and a coffee bar. The interior is spartan Italian-style, but you come here for the pastries Paolo Caredda and his team produce. Unfortunately it‘s not a secret anymore: on Sundays especially there may be long queues - but the marzipan, cakes and the little filled pastries with enticing names make it more than worth the wait. Order a coffee at the bar and get some sweet bits and bites from the display cabinet.
