Beyer Watch Museum (Uhrenmuseum)

In 2020 the Beyer Watch Museum will be closed for renovations fro January 15 until August.

At the Beyer watch museum you can admire hundreds of watches without worrying that a shop clerk is about to ask you which one you're interested in buying. But it's more than just beautiful watches and clocks - the exhibition shows the very different instruments used for time measurement from Egyptian times to today, like oil clocks or sundials. And we are sure the very passionate staff will answer any question you have. The museum is within the premises of the Beyer watch shop.

Although quite small, this museum has some really interesting pieces like the smallest wrist watch in the world and even the watch worn by Sir Edmund Hillary when he climbed Everest. The best part of the museum is its passionate staff who describe each exhibit as if they made it themselves.
