When the new owners took over in 2009, this venue (established in 1963) had seen better days. However, they were wise enough to only give it a facelift, conserving its 1960s charm, so now it's not what one would call fancy, but it's all the more likeable. There is an ever-changing selection of cocktails available and the variety of whiskeys and rum is enormous. There are, for example, roughly 100 rums from 25 countries, including unusual offerings from such exotic places as Nepal. They also sell a couple of wines by the glass and it's generally a good place for a laid-back start to an evening out in the Langstrasse district.
