Known as s'Magdi to locals, this is the oldest bar in Lucerne and has been serving for over 200 years. Today it is still very popular and features not just a smokers bar at street level, which is famous for its carajillos (Spanish flamed espresso with schnapps), but a restaurant upstairs too, serving Spanish and Mediterranean comfort food. Magdi shows films on some Monday nights and offers a home to various exhibitions by local artists.
