Royal Botanic Gardens

The Botanical Gardens in the city centre of Madrid are currently home for over five thousand species of living plants (from onions to roses), but that's just a little part of what visitors can experience.
Declared an Artistic Garden in 1942, the place also hosts a vast herbarium, a library and an archive with over ten thousand drawings.
There are different guided tours, educational activities, exhibitions and conferences all through the year.
