For all the class and elegance on show in Cádiz, sometimes we just want a no-frills tapas joint with history dripping from the walls and moustaches drooping at the bar. El Serrallo offers that and more, and by ‘more’ we mean ‘excellent cured meats’. In the summer there is also pleasant outdoor seating in the square. The midday paella comes particularly recommended.
