A studenty Melville institution that’s been around for years. Six is always popular, not least during its ludicrously cheap daily 2-4-1 cocktail happy hour that runs from 12:00–19:00. There are literally dozens of cocktails to choose from. The bar's best seller is the potent Excitabull (vodka, berries, red bull and a hint of Stroh), the fruity and tropical June Bug and the Snoop Dogg – 'a kiwi and mint kissed gin and juice'.
The crowd are friendly and fun, usually found supping on cocktails and enjoying the old school hip hop and RnB soundtrack, played at just the right volume for maintaining conversations.
