Located along the ring road to the south of the city centre, Trnovo may not be the most beautiful golf course in Slovenia, but its aesthetic shortcomings are compensated for by its proximity to Ljubljana and the fact that its the only course in the country that does not officially require a golf license to play. The green fees are also the lowest around, although you will have to play the same nine holes twice if you want to get in a full 18-hole round.
