For years Pod Sklaco was our go to destination for post-poker drinks on Friday nights, until all of our poker buddies selfishly decided to have kids and/or get married. At least we'll always have the fond memories of buying rounds of drinks with our winnings, followed by a gourmet hot dog or two from the takeaway window that's conveniently located with the small inner courtyard/smoking area. Nostalgia aside, Pod Skalco is a popular watering hole for locals, with some of the cheapest drinks in town and frequent promotions that lower the prices even further. Located on a cute cobbled lane next to the City Museum and Križanke Summer Theatre, it's also a pleasant place to take a load off during daylight hours.
