Voted the best Slovene ski resort multiple times by In Your Pocket readers, its huge popularity (capacity: 13,700 skiers/hour) is partly by virtue of its proximity to Ljubljana, just 45 minutes by car. Of course the views are spectacular (1450-1971m), and the piste breathtaking, literally with 23km of medium to demanding slopes.
