Some places try a little too hard to attract specific groups of people, but this coffee shop isn't one of them. A gay and lesbian-owned café near the river in a quiet neighbourhood south of the Old Town, its smallish multi-coloured interior is bright and airy, and there's usually good music drifting out of the speakers above. Three to four times a week it hosts cultural events and round tables, including music, literature evenings, classes and open mic. Check the website for details of upcoming events.

They are no longer at the address listed (Hrenova 19). Update your site to include only actually open gay cafes, if any exist. Gay scene here is wanting. Don't disappoint all by making it harder for gays to locate each other. [Editor's Note: The bar is under new management as of only a week or two ago.
