BTC City Ljubljana is one of the largest business, shopping, entertainment, recreational and cultural centres in Europe. Boasting more than 450 shops and 70 food and drink vendors, including an open air food court and farmers market, all spread over 475,000 square metres, it's the city's go-to destination for shopping, dining and relaxing. Some of Slovenia’s largest entertainment facilities are also here, with a multiplex cinema, theatre, bowling alley, casino, sports centre and water park, and it also plays an increasingly important role as a regional business and technology hub, with the country’s tallest business tower and even a luxury hotel. Located a few kilometres northeast of the city centre, there’s lots of free parking for those with cars, and the area is also well served by public transport, as well as bike and car share stations.
