Ljubljana may be a city that can be covered easily enough on foot (or perhaps bike for those who really want to get out and about), but that doesn't mean it's lacking in things to see and do - quite to the contrary, as the city boasts sights and attractions around almost every corner! From ancient Roman ruins to modernist architectural creations and everything in between, with of course it's magnificent castle overlooking it all from the hill above, there may not be a European capital with more to offer per square metre.
While we have our personal favourites, this summer we've decided to ask our readers what their top choices are, narrowing the list down to the twenty options* below.
