Vasovanje is a traditional custom in which local young boys would scale ladders at the dead of night to secretly visit their sweethearts and declare their undying love. The annual Bohinj event recreates this custom for the pleasure of the local crowds who flock to attend. Bohinj Vasovanje takes place under the linden tree in Srednja vas.
