Museum of Jewish Culture

World War II Slovakia’s close ties to the Nazi regime was disastrous for the country’s Jewish population, and a very little remains of what was once a thriving community. This adds an extra poignancy to the Museum of Jewish Culture, itself found inside one of the few surviving houses of Bratislava’s old Jewish Quarter. The history of the Jews in Slovakia is documenting, including the horrors of World War II.
