World War II Slovakia’s close ties to the Nazi regime was disastrous for the country’s Jewish population, and a very little remains of what was once a thriving community. This adds an extra poignancy to the Museum of Jewish Culture, itself found inside one of the few surviving houses of Bratislava’s old Jewish Quarter.
