Avala Tower is located on Avala Mountain and it is a telecommunications tower. With 204.68m in height, Avala Tower is the tallest tower in the Balkans. The tower that now stands on the mountain is actually a reconstruction from 2010 of the original that stood there for 34 years before being destroyed in the NATO bombing in 1999. It's one of the main tourist attractions in Belgrade’s vicinity.
