Merchant Lodge

A refreshing change from the city centre and the West End comes in the shape of this natty little Merchant City number. The Merchant Lodge, not so small really with 40 rooms of varying sizes, sits neatly alongside all the designer shops, galleries and restaurants of this funky quarter. Lots of clean lines, bright understated décor and  wooden floors make an appealing combination although the OTT pine in the dining room is more Alpine than Merchant.  Have your Apres Skis in one of the cutting edge bars round the corner. The flexible check in/out times are always a bonus.
