Perfectly located in a prime touristic spot just a few steps from the Neva river and Peter and Paul Fortress, this small boutique hotel leaves a very pleasing impression from the minute you enter. Recently fully redecorated the hotel shines with a fresh mix of nineteenth Century style classicism and bright modern white brick walls and fabrics – tradition has its limits and thankfully there’s not a frilly bit of chintz in sight. The difference in room sizes is negligible, although the Junior suite is noticeably more spacious, while all the beds are standard squishy king sized covered in more than enough pillows and cushions.
