Hidden away in an alley at the start of the hip Rubinstein Street, this bar is unlike anywhere you've been before. A "back to the roots" philosophy means that the cocktail menu is inspired by ingredients of olden days in Russia. Mix that together with some of the finest names of Russia's cultural heritage and you've got yourself some truly unique and surprising cocktails. The Dostoevsky and Blok pages feature some truly brutal cocktails with ingredients like polugar (bread wine) pickle juice, pine cone jam and apple shrub; Tchaikovsky is more suitable for the ladies (the "Charodeika" cocktail contains apricot distillate, sea buck-thorn, mandarin and a piece of cotton candy fluff on top, making it truly Instagrammable). If cocktails are not your thing the bar offers more than 25 types of Russian distillates, 8 types of vodkas, some liquors from the former Soviet republics and even a few foreign whiskeys, rums and wines.
