Pizzeria Castelsardo proudly bears the name of the ancient Italian fortress city of Castelsardo, where the inspirer of the project pizzaiolo Dario Busceddu was born and lives now. It was Dario who taught the creators of the restaurant to cook traditional Italian pizza. So the profile dish in Castelsardo is prepared in accordance with strict technologies: traditional dough from three different types of flour from Italian manufacturers, only farmers' products and oak wood in the stove. The stove itself, by the way, came to St. Petersburg from Italy disassembled and then was assembled here.
The Castelsardo menu has more than ten pizza options: classics like "Margarita", "Pepperoni" or "4 cheeses" and author variations (for example, pizza with fresh burrata and tomatoes). In addition to pizza, the menu includes pasta, light cream soups and classic Italian starters like bruschetta with tomatoes, mozzarella or focaccia with pesto. The bar card is dominated by rare Sardinian wines and Italian classics from other regions, there is also Limoncello, Grappa and Sardinian Myrtle – a great company for antipasti. Not only authentic products make the atmosphere of the place, but also Italian expats visiting restaurant regularly.
