Italian restaurant Arcobaleno, which in Italian means “rainbow”, is located inside the Domina Hotel and is as colourful as its name suggests. Whereas most restaurants in five-star hotels play it safe with muted, often bland interiors, Arcobaleno boldly immerses its clientele in oranges, reds, blues, and purples. Arcobaleno is a very welcome addition to an area otherwise lacking in good selections and has the potential to become quite a draw for those spending time in the beautiful neighbourhood of Kolomna. The biggest plus of the place is its lunches: for a reasonable price you can get up to four delicious plates from a wide array of choices that include their terrific in-house desserts. Another bonus: they’re great with kids.
