Anglettere Cinema Lounge is one of the most luxurious movie theatres in St. Petersburg. The auditorium's architecture is similar to a Roman theatre. At the same time, it is also very minimalist and sophisticated. The screen is sharp and the sound is immersive. As for the movies, they are both in Russian and English. The alley to the theatre is actually the lounge with red couches where the moviegoers can sit and enjoy the view of St. Isaac's Cathedral. The restaurant inside the sumptuous building offers a fine-dining experience and it has a very good wine collection. Going to Anglettere Cinema Lounge can be a bit tricky though. It is situated in front of one of the most iconic churches of St. Petersburg. But its entrance does not look like a typical theatre and you have to hop through the hotel lobby and then pass through the sitting area of the café before finding its door. Fortunately, the staff speaks English fluently and they are always ready to help you find the way.
