The first thing you notice about The Mad Cook is its décor. Hundreds of bright, closed-bud tulips hang from the ceiling, strands of tiny peach-coloured paper cranes intermingled with them. Tables and crockery are a light sage green, and the overall effect is of a fresh, bright springtime. It continues to pleasantly surprise with its food; the Italian-inspired menu is delicious and well-thought through, with the sorrel mousse being a must-try! It's also good for vegetarians, and has a great bar. Both service and staff are excellent, creating a really lovely atmosphere.
