This place is showing signs of being one of the best Georgians in town. Unlike many of its rivals, the menu is relatively short – and in particular it steers away from shashlyk in favour of more specialized dishes. But crucially, it delivers them well: the signature khachapuri is well realized, satsivi carries an appealingly spicy kick and staples like pkhali and lobio are all well served here. There’s even a relatively rare chance to sample a Georgian beer, although this probably has more curiosity value than gourmet merit. Also at Bol. Cherkassky per. 13 bldg. 4 and ul. Sretenka 24/2 bldg. 1.
