Keep an eye to the sky to spot this second floor bar from the street as it is well worth the barrels of Czech beer and wholesome food found inside. The pub prides itself on providing top quality authentic Czech beer, Velkopopovicky Kozel, served at the optimum temperature of 10-12 degrees, at which the locals say it releases its true flavour. Large windows shed light onto the medieval looking paneled hall, furnished with dark traditionally carved wooden benches, where there is plenty of space to enjoy drinks and bar snacks with friends or a family friendly meal. The no nonsense Czech food includes the famous beer sausages, delicious steaks, marinated cheeses and other snacks to accompany an of course wide selection of bitters. Also at ul. Sretenka 4 (metro Turgenevskaya) and Shosse Entuziastov 12, bldg. 2 (inside shopping centre Gorod at 3rd floor) (metro Aviamotornaya).
