This friendly little upmarket hotel is a great base for those wanting to escape from the sometimes soulless feel of Moscow’s larger and grander hotels. With just 35 rooms, the place feels intimate, yet there’s also enough space to feel that you are not bumping into the same people all the time. Rooms are elegantly decorated with soft cappuccino furnishings giving warmth to the minimalist design. The deluxe rooms are worth the extra money for those hoping for that riverside view and the rooms up in the attic may have slanted roofs but they also have a lot more floor space.
