Housed in the grounds of Andronikov Monastery, this museum is dedicated to the art of the Russian icon throughout the ages. Although none of the famed Rublyev's work is here, the icons in the collection are still beautiful. Preservation is paramount for icons and many are still shining brightly despite their age. Spread out over three floors of the restored St. Michael's chapel, a ghostly feeling still inhabits the place.
