A cosy cafe named we think after the apple cake traditional in these parts and recommended for not just having a great selection of tea (check out their comprehensive menu) but also for having a good selection of light and less light bites including sandwiches, soups and burgers. It's the desserts however which win the greatest praise and along with their cakes they have something called 'Antidesserts' which see panna cotta matched with roast beef; cheescake with salmon and eclair with chicken pate. Worth checking out for its uniqueness there we think.
