The austere German facade which conceals this popular British pub is a fairly unappealing direction to head in if you don't know that it's part of the Epicentre shopping centre. Once you get inside, though, you'll feel right at home. Cavernous, well-lit and done up in warm wooden tones and burnished brass, if it weren't for the countless TV screens (which incidentally make this place our hands-down favourite for football-watching) and the absence of a lingering cloud of tobacco smoke, you could quite imagine bumping into Sherlock Holmes here. And while we're on the topic of smoke, don't be tempted to light up on the balcony- Russia also has a ban on smoking on terraces in place.
