The Ulpia Traiana Augusta Dacica Sarmizegetusa colony was founded between AD 108-110 by Roman Emperor Trajan after the conquest of Dacia by the Roman Empire. Nowadays, only the ruins of this place can be seen, such as the forum, the basilica, the amphitheatre and the Temple of Goddess Nemesis.
